Abstract:

Entrepreneurship plays a pivotal role in driving economic growth, fostering innovation, and ensuring sustainable development. In the context of Jammu and Kashmir, entrepreneurship can serve as a powerful tool to transform the socio-economic landscape, particularly by engaging youth in productive and development-oriented activities. This paper explores the various government-led initiatives aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, sustainability, and value creation in the region. It examines how these schemes not only provide financial and infrastructural support but also work towards changing the mindset of the youth—encouraging them to become contributors to economic prosperity rather than being drawn into anti-national activities.
