Abstract:

For plastic components manufacturing process used is Injection moulding. While doing this manufacturing process we have to face some problems in filling process, clamping, cooling, and amount of material to inject into the cavity area. Due to the above problems there is wastage of material, time, poor component quality. Any machine's design optimization goal is to eliminate failures caused by process tolerances. To determine suitability of design for mass manufacturing, computer simulation & computer design are utilized. From geometrical & material parameters of input parameters to output parameters, computer model mimics behavior of machined components. focus of this research is on design of Pneumatic Injection Moulding Machine components. Pro-E is used to develop several machine components in this study. This machine is used to mould plastic into useful form & shape, & it is best suited for small-scale enterprises producing small-scale plastic components.
